Astrology and Tarot
The Tarot is the Silver Key of traditional knowledge, while Astrology is the Golden Key. This astrological study is based on the COSMOPSMOPSICO TAROT, which establishes clear relationships between the 78 Arcane Tarot and the different astrological components. Let's see what is the fundamental architecture of this modern Tarot:
22 ARCANOS MAYORES: 10 of them are ruled by each of the ten astrological planets. The remaining 12 are under the analogy of the 12 zodiacal signs.
56 ARCANOS MINORS: they are in turn divided into three groups, of which we will only refer to those of the first group.
A- 40 Minor Arcana representing the position of the 10 astrological planets in each of the 4 elements (fire, air, water and earth). So for example, the Sun is in analogy with 4 of these Minor Arcana, which are specifically one for Sun in fire, another for Sun in air, another for Sun in water and the last for Sun on land.
B- 12 Minor Arcana representing each one of the 12 astrological houses.
C- 4 Minor Arcana symbolizing each one of a single element: fire, air, water and earth. The sum of 40 plus 12 plus 4 is from 56.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATAL ASTROLOGICAL REPORT IN RELATION TO THE TAROT.
A. ZODIACAL SIGN LOCATED ON THE ASCENDANT (BORN).
The meaning of the Major Arcanum analogous to the zodiacal sign that is located in the ascendant or being born is explained. This defines in a good way the fundamental lines of behavior throughout life.
B. PLANET LOCATED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASCENDANT (BORN).
If there is a planet next to the ascendant in its natal chart (in conjunction), the meaning of the Greater Arcanum analogous to that nascent planet is explained.
C. PLANETS IN THE ELEMENTS.
Each of the 10 astrological planets is studied in relation to the element in which they are found. Remember that Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are signs of fire; Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are of air; Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are water; and Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are of earth. In relation to this combination we go to the Minor Arcana corresponding to that planet-element combination. In each combination it is explained what this one refers to, since each planet is related to different matters
D. PLANETS IN HOUSES.
The system we follow to study the houses in relation to the Tarot is simple. House I is analogous to the sign 1 (Aries), house II is related to the sign 2 (Taurus), and so on. In this way, house I will be akin to the Major Arcanum ruled by Aries, house II will be akin to the Greater Arcanum ruled by Taurus, and so on. As in turn each planet is analogous to a Major Arcana, the system of interpretation of a planet in a house will be: to relate to the Major Arcanum analogous to that planet with the Greater Arcanum related to that house.
E. PLANETARY ASPECTS.
The aspects are harmonic or disharmonic relations between the planets. Each planet is in analogy with a Major Arcana, so to study a harmonic aspect (trine, sextile) between two stars we will make a harmonic relationship between the two Major Arcana that govern these two planets. If it is a disharmonious aspect (quadrature, opposition), we will make a disharmonic relationship between the two Major Arcana that govern these two stars. The conjunction is sometimes considered harmonic and other times it is studied as disharmonic, depending on the affinity between the two planets that form it.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE BEST USE OF THE REPORT:
1-If you wish to delve deeply into the meaning of astrological and Tarot relationships, we recommend that you study the slides used by the Report by opening this link:
Prints corresponding to the Astrology and Tarot report
2-Each Arcane of the Cosmopsychological Tarot has three zones (upper, middle and lower). In the upper zone is the corresponding astrological symbol (s) that govern that Arcanum, the Arcanum number and, in the case of the Major Arcana only, the name of the corresponding Hebrew letter. In the middle area is the drawing. In the lower area there are three key words. The first represents the highest meaning of the Arcanum, the second is the mean meaning and the third is the lower or more disharmonic meaning.
3-The interpretations given in this report should not be taken as definitive, since these Astrology-Tarot relationships are under investigation. They can always be a good reference for you to deepen and meditate on the meaning of the pictures and their interrelationships with your birth chart.
